Hungry Howies is real good pizza for the price but $3.50 delivery for less than one mile is RIDICULOUS!!!! I never tip under $3 so to add $6.50 for someone to drop off a pizza is robbery. I get having to charge something, but $3.50 is absolutely excessive and you wont pay close to that anywhere else! Id get HH everytime if their DC was less!!
Menu prices aren't great but search online and there are good deals to had most of the time. Generous toppings and very fresh and flavorful.
I am giving 5 because it's a great location and quick for me staff is friendly.
Online order was satisfactory, but nothing to write home about. Little sauce, fewer toppings. I made an additional in-store order that was all wrong. They made me a sub instead of a howie roll, which I didn't realize until they were finishing up. I felt bad asking the worker to make a Howie roll instead, so I let it go. The sub also had bacon in it, while I asked for no bacon. The worker even made a joke about there being no bacon on the sub while he was finishing with it's prep. I returned home to find it covered in bacon. Super frustrating. Please focus on your work next time you're making an order.
I have slowly become a fan of HH over the last few years. It seemed I only had sheet pizza from here (which just is not the style I most enjoy) for the longest time. Once my daughter started asking for the gluten free option (in her opinion, it beats out most others around) we started trying more of HH's other pizza options and we're really enjoying them! The latest was the Howie Maui which we tried recently and were really surprised how good it was.
