Cons: Some items are way overpriced, and the hot food is very inconsistent. Everything is a different size every time I go. Which reminds me, thank you to the gentleman who gave me the most giant chicken bite bowl of my life.
My mom got admitted to the hospital and wanted me to bring her some food so I stopped in and ordered the Monday special which was two legs two thighs a side and a drink for 599. Great deal. Mom also wanted me to bring her one of those little orc man's mini coolers that fit like four cans of soda. Ask the cashier if I could just fill that with a little ice instead of getting the soda. Literally this thing could maybe hold two cupfuls with the cans of pop in it. She told me she would have to charge me for an entire bag of ice. I was like oh well I just figured water basically cost next to nothing and I figured it would be a better deal for you she just said once again no I will have to charge you for an entire bag of ice. No thank you. Really? I would be lucky if I used 2/10 of the bag Great way to tell the customer to go you know what their self when it would be absolutely no sweat off your back to go the extra mile. Bumped it up to two stars because the food was good but still won't be back
It's a gas station. However, the hummus is fantastic, and many people will come here for it alone.
It's a small gas station and sells prepared foods and the normal convenience store at a gas station would. Haven't tried the food. I limit my salt intake and it looks salty. Gas is often cheaper than other nearby gas stations.
Pros: 24 hours, consistent stock. Feels like I briefly step into New Orleans while I'm there, mostly because of the hot fried food being served out of a gas station, and they have voodoo chips (think that's the name, little black bag).
Best gas station food. Ordered chicken nuggets and they made batter, rolled the chicken in it, and fried them. Obviously takes a bit longer than a hot dog on a roller, but well worth it.
