After moving into our home in West Park we began noticing some issues when trying to operate our dishwasher and micro wave at the same time. After a year of having to reset the breaker enough was enough. We contacted AC Electric. The electrician named Will did an outstanding job and did not stop until the job was complete.
Now we have AC Electric wiring a kitchen /main floor bathroom addition as our Lakewood home has only an upstairs bathroom. Again, AC is efficient and always in communication. If we have questions, issues or changes, they respond immediately- great work.
I felt taken advantage of after getting emergency service from AC Electric. I recently purchased a double home and was alarmed when all of the lights in the first floor unit, also with a handful of lights in the second floor unit were not working. The downstairs tenants had spoken to me and said that they contacted the electric company who had said power should be on. I contacted AC to come check it out but the call center operator was very unclear in distinguishing emergency service charges versus standard charges on the call. It was my understanding there was a $295 charge regardless of emergency or standard to I opted for emergency. The tech was prompt and friendly, however, it took him only 20 minutes (although he was on site for about 40) to determine that it was a power company issue. I called the office to see if there was any way I could get some type of reimbursement for this abbreviated call where no actual work was performed as I had just moved in the area and needed some additional work done at a later date and would've loved to have a local company take care of it. I was told I'd be emailed a credit but no other details. I head nothing more. After following up the next week I found the credit was actually a $25 off your next service coupon that appeared to be standard to all emailed receipts. When I called to see if there was anything else that could be done I was met with arguments and negativity.
We came from out of State a year and a half ago to be near my wife's 93 y.o. Mom and had extensive electrical work done in Dec 2015. AC Electric responded with a completely detailed plan of work to be done and parts to be purchased. They accommodated adjustments for our budget as the work continued. How many contracting companies do you become familiar with the workers on a first name basis- with AC you know them all from the CEO, Asminit, to the line guys and the secretary as well. Emails and calls are returned promptly. If you are wanting a job on the 'cheap', don't call AC.
